Overview
SoapBox is a comprehensive faith community platform founded in 2023 that helps churches and faith communities connect, communicate, and grow together through digital tools. The platform serves as a centralized hub for religious organizations to manage communications, community engagement, and spiritual activities with AI-powered features.
Objective
As Full Stack AI Engineer, my role involves building and maintaining the core platform infrastructure, implementing AI-powered content creation tools, developing multi-channel communication systems (email, SMS, push notifications), and creating scalable solutions for multi-campus church management. The platform needed to serve both small churches (under 100 members) and large multi-campus organizations.
Process
Development focuses on creating robust backend systems for member management, event coordination, and volunteer tracking. I implement AI features for content generation and engagement optimization, build real-time communication infrastructure, and ensure the platform scales efficiently across different church sizes. Special attention is given to data privacy and security for sensitive community information.
Technical Implementation
Leveraged advanced machine learning algorithms and AI models to enhance user experience and system performance. Implemented intelligent recommendation systems using collaborative filtering and deep learning techniques. Utilized modern AI frameworks including TensorFlow.js for real-time inference and Python-based ML pipelines for model training and optimization.
Impact
SoapBox has become a trusted platform for faith communities, offering features like daily devotionals, prayer walls, Bible study resources, event management with room booking, volunteer coordination, attendance tracking, and AI-powered content creation. The tiered pricing model ensures accessibility for churches of all sizes.
